Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device that can improve a steering feeling by suppressing fluctuation of loads to a ball.SOLUTION: In a nut-side ball screw groove 42a, at first and second regions in first and second prescribed ranges extended, along a nut-side ball screw groove 42b, from end side openings of first and second connection passages 50 and 60 are provided first and second load transition regions VL1 and VL2 configured so that balls 43 existing in the first and second regions transmit input loads to be received from a nut 41 side to a rack shaft 7 side and a distance in a radial direction (an inter-rack shaft distance) RL between a rotary shaft of the nut 41 and the nut-side ball screw groove 42b gradually increases toward the end side openings of the first and second connection passages 50 and 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
