Abstract:
To provide a power storage device which can increase the reliability.SOLUTION: A power storage device 10 comprising an exterior member 20 having a barrier layer 36, and a power storage element 11 sealed in the exterior member is to be installed in an electrically-driven automobile 1. The exterior member 20 has a peripheral seal part 21 and a receiving part 16 for the power storage element 11. A depth direction of the receiving part 16 and X direction orthogonal to the depth direction are set in a front-back direction or right-left direction of the electrically-driven automobile 1. Y direction which is perpendicular to the depth direction of the receiving part 16 and X direction is set in a height direction of the electrically-driven automobile 1. The exterior member has a corrosion resistant coating on at least one surface of the barrier layer 36. According to analysis by time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry about the corrosion resistant coating, the ratio Pof a peak intensity Poriginating from POto a peak intensity Poriginating from CePOfalls within a range of 80-120, or the ratio Pof a peak intensity Poriginating from POto the peak intensity Pfalls within a range of 90-150.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
