Abstract:

To provide a power storage device capable of relatively easily suppressing a negative electrode active material layer from being peeled from negative electrode metal foil and a method of manufacturing an electrode assembly.

A secondary battery includes an electrode assembly 14 constituted by laminating a positive electrode 21 in which a positive electrode active material layer 32 is formed on positive electrode metal foil 31 and a negative electrode 22 in which a negative electrode active material layer 42 is formed on negative electrode metal foil 41. An outer peripheral edge 32a of the positive electrode active material layer 32 is arranged more inside than an outer peripheral edge 42a of the negative electrode active material layer 42 when viewed in the lamination direction. A high density part 61 with high density in comparison to other portions is provided along each of long sides 42b, 42d of the negative electrode active material layer 42.
