Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a power storage device which can suppress the worsening of the reliability of a current interrupt device when a lid member is disposed in a lateral direction to a casing; and a power storage device module.SOLUTION: A secondary battery comprises: an electrode assembly; a casing 11 which contains the electrode assembly and an electrolyte solution L; and a negative electrode terminal 16 electrically connected to the electrode assembly through a negative electrode conductive member 60. The casing 11 has a casing member 13, and a rectangular lid member 14 for closing an opening 13a of the casing member 13. The secondary battery further comprises a current interrupt device 71 disposed in a setting space S between an inner face 14b of the lid member 14, and an end face of the electrode assembly opposed to the inner face 14b. The current interrupt device 71 cuts an energizing path P between the electrode assembly and the negative electrode terminal 16 when an internal pressure of the casing 11 is a set pressure or larger. The current interrupt device 71 has a deformable plate 76 which is deformed when the internal pressure of the casing 11 is the set pressure or larger. The deformable plate 76 is disposed so as to form an external surface of the current interrupt device 71.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
