A cathode plate 30 and an anode plate 31 having a sheet-like metal plate member 32 made of an iron-based material whose Vickers hardness is 200 to 800 inclusive and whose Young modulus is 100 GPa to 300 GPa inclusive are stacked in the laminated direction on the outermost side of an electrode assembly 12, with a separator 20 interposed in between. The metal plate member 32 of the cathode plate 30 is not provided with a cathode active material layer 22 and is provided with an aluminum plating layer 33, and the metal plate member 32 of the anode plate 31 is not provided with an anode active material layer 26 and is provided with a copper plating layer 34.
