Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of stably generating high output power, which has been required in the prior art.SOLUTION: A power generation device includes a magnetic flux generator for generating a magnetic flux, a rotation unit which rotates around the rotational axis, and an induction coil unit having a winding. The magnetic flux generator, the rotating unit and the induction coil unit are arranged side by side in the direction of the rotation axis. The rotating unit is disposed between the magnetic flux generator and the induction coil unit, and the rotating unit has a magnetic flux changing unit. Upon rotation of the rotating unit, the magnetic flux changing unit traverses a space through which the magnetic flux interlinking with the winding passes, and the magnetic flux changing unit traverses a space through which the magnetic flux interlinking with the winding passes, whereby the magnetic flux density of the magnetic flux interlinking with the winding varies, and electromotive force is induced in the induction coil unit according to the variation in magnetic flux density of the magnetic flux interlinking with the winding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
