Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the energy density of a power storage device.SOLUTION: A power storage device 20 includes a positive electrode 22 having a carbonaceous material as a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode 23 having, as a negative electrode active material, a layered structure including an organic skeleton layer containing an aromatic compound which is a dicarboxylate anion having two or more aromatic ring structures and an alkali metal element layer in which an alkali metal element coordinates to oxygen contained in the carboxylate anion to form a skeleton, and an ion conduction medium that is interposed between the positive electrode 22 and the negative electrode 23 and that conducts lithium ions. In the power storage device, a predetermined cell design parameter α satisfies a range of 1.5<α<4.0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
