Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage element capable of suppressing temporary output degradation after a high rate cycle even when the thickness of a separator is made thin.SOLUTION: A power storage element 10 includes: a positive electrode 410; a negative electrode 420; and a separator 430 arranged between the positive electrode 410 and the negative electrode 420. The negative electrode 420 has a negative electrode base material layer 421, and a negative electrode mixture layer 422 arranged on the surface of the negative electrode base material layer 421. The separator 430 has a separator base material layer 431. The negative electrode mixture layer 422 contains non-graphitizable carbon whose D50 particle diameter is 2.0 μm or more and 6.0 μm or less as a negative electrode active material. The negative electrode correction density which is defined as the value obtained by dividing the value obtained by multiplying the thickness of the negative electrode mixture layer 422 to the density of the negative electrode mixture layer 422 with the thickness of the separator base material layer 431 is 1.2(g/cm) or more and 5.1(g/cm) or less.
