PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage element in which a space between an electrode body and a wall facing a curved portion of the electrode body in a container is reduced.SOLUTION: A power storage element includes: an electrode body including a wound electrode plate; a container receiving the electrode body and having a first wall facing a curved portion of the electrode body; and a penetrating body penetrating through the first wall and having a protruding portion protruding toward the electrode body. The distance between the first wall and the electrode body is less than a protruding distance of the protruding portion from the first wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
