Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage system for making it easy to ensure a necessary power amount when outage is occurring.SOLUTION: A use apparatus selection unit (222) selects an electric apparatus (26) used in a time zone in which outage is occurring. A power consumption prediction unit (223) predicts power consumed in the time zone in which the outage is occurring by the electric apparatus selected by the use apparatus selection unit. An initial residual amount setting unit (224) sets a first power amount obtained by multiplying the predicted power and time length of the time zone in which the outage is occurring to a residual amount of a storage battery (143) required when the outage is occurring. When outage is not occurring, a control unit discharges the storage battery when a residual amount of the storage battery detected by a residual amount detection unit (141) is larger than the residual amount of the storage battery set by the initial residual amount setting unit, and charges the storage battery when the residual amount of the storage battery detected by the residual amount detection unit is smaller than the residual amount of the storage battery set by the initial residual amount setting unit.
