Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution and to connect an external power supply to an internal power supply circuit, by inhibiting the functioning of the internal power supply circuit until all necessary modules are loaded. CONSTITUTION:An internal power supply circuit 12 supplies the power to modules 111-11n, and a detecting/connecting circuit 13 performs the detection of insertion and the connection of power supply for the modules 111-11n. The circuit 13 consists of a series circuit connecting in series plural switch elements of a connector part including the sockets of the modules plus the plags corresponding to the modules, a relay RY which connects the series circuit in series between the power supplies, and a by-pass switch S. when a desired module is inserted, the relay RY closes the corresponding switch element and gives a short circuit to the series circuit. As a result, a normally opened contact RYS is closed to apply an external power supply to the circuit 12.
