PURPOSE: To confirm the connection of connectors without fail and to secure the safety of power supply by not forming a cyclic path in case an improper connection is in each unit so as to prevent a control signal from being supplied to a relay section.
CONSTITUTION: When all units 21-24 comprising an incircuit emulator 10 are properly connected and a bottom cover 32 is placed at the lower part of a lowest-order unit 24, a cyclic path 31 is formed. If the power is applied in this state, a MAP-ON signal is supplied through cables 12 and 14 to the input terminal of a relay section 35 thereby applying the AC voltage to the input terminal of a power supply section 34. In case an improper connection is in any unit or the bottom cover 32 is not mounted, the short-circuited cyclic path 31 will not be formed and the MAP-ON signal will not be supplied to the relay section 35. Thus the power is not applied from a power supply section 34.
