PURPOSE: To provide a power circuit which is small in power consumption and can use a small-capacity capacitor as for a power circuit which functions to take DC electric power out of an AC power source through a switching element and an accumulator element.

CONSTITUTION: A rise-time voltage level detection part 11 detects the rising of an inputted AC voltage waveform and outputs an on signal to a switch part 12. The switch part 12 having received the signal switches on to charge a capacitor 6 connected to output terminals 5c and 5d, and also supply electric power to the outside. Further, a drop-time voltage level detection part 10 detects the falling of the inputted AC voltage waveform and outputs an on signal to the switch part 12. Then the switch part 12 switches on. Then the voltage level detection parts 10 and 11 output the off signals in a period, wherein the voltage is high, represented by the peak time of the AC voltage to turn off the switch part 12. At this time, the capacitor 6 begins to be discharged to supply the electric power to the outside.
