Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control system and power supply control method which allow for efficient power supply to a load, while performing appropriate charge discharge control of a power storage device, by cooperation of a power generator and the power storage device.SOLUTION: A power supply control system includes: a residual power storage amount detector 22 of a power storage device 20; a prediction computation unit 42 for computing a power generation amount arrival time at which an average power generation output reaches an average load power consumption, by computing the predicted power generation amount of a power generator 10 and the predicted load power consumption of a connected load, computing the dischargeable time until the residual power storage amount reaches a lowest residual amount based on them and the residual power storage amount, and computing the average power generation output of the power generator 10 and the average load power consumption of connected loads 101-105; and a control unit 43 for controlling to reduce power consumption of the connected loads 101-105, when the dischargeable time is shorter than the power generation amount arrival time.
