Title:
POWER SUPPLY CORD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015116079
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply cord in which electrification is unlikely to be stopped, while ensuring safety.SOLUTION: The power supply cord includes a plug 1 including a plurality of plug blades 11, and a load connection part connected to a load. The plug 1 includes a parallel circuit formed from two PTC thermistors 50. In the case where a resistance value of the parallel circuit becomes higher than a predetermined value, electrification from the plug blades 11 to the load connection part is stopped by a cutoff device 3. Even in the case where only one PTC thermistor 50 is being disconnected, the electrification can be prevented from being stopped just thereby, such that the electrification is unlikely to be stopped by the disconnection. Further, even in the case where one PTC thermistor 50 is disconnected and the temperature of the other PTC thermistor 50 rises, in addition to the case where the temperatures of both the PTC thermistors 50 rise or the case where both the PTC thermistors 50 are disconnected, the electrification is stopped, such that safety can be improved in comparison with the case where the electrification is not stopped.
