In the power supply and demand system S1, a facility 30 includes an optimum planning section 31a for executing the optimum operation plan of the power supply and calculating the target remaining capacity of a storage battery of a vehicle side storage battery 12 at the predicted time of putting the vehicle in garage; and a facility side communication unit 41 capable of transmitting the information about the target remaining capacity of the storage battery to a vehicle 10. The vehicle 10 is provided with the vehicle side storage battery 12, a charging discharging control unit 11b, a drive 13 having a motor 13a, a vehicle side communication unit 17 for performing communication with the facility 30, and a drive control unit 11a for controlling driving. The driving control unit 11a controls the operations of the charging discharging control unit 11b and the drive 13 so that the remaining capacity of the storage battery at the predicted time of putting the vehicle in garage may be the target remaining capacity of the storage battery in accordance with the information about the target remaining capacity of the storage battery accepted by the vehicle side communication unit 17.
