Abstract:
To provide a power supply device capable of efficiently supplying power with little transmission loss during bicycle parking, in a power-assisted light vehicle using a conductive rim like aluminum for wheels.SOLUTION: The power supply device 9 of a power-assisted light vehicle transmits power by magnetic coupling of power supply coils 17 of the power supply device of the power-assisted light vehicle installed in a bicycle parking device 16, with relay coils 11 installed to a wheel 14 of the power-assisted light vehicle. The power supply device has ferrite cores 22 opposingly arranged on both sides of the wheel with a space, the power supply coils wound around the ferrite cores, and exposed magnetic poles 22a for generating a magnetic field, without winding the power supply coils around the ferrite cores. A space between the magnetic poles and a conductive rim 18 of the wheel is formed by separating 3 mm or more, or preferably 8 mm or more, from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
