Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for illumination that can stabilize light amount control of a light emitting element.SOLUTION: A power supply device for illumination has a dimmer 6 for emitting a dimmer signal according to a desired dimmer amount, a converting circuit 8 for converting the dimmer signal to a DC voltage, a clamp circuit 9 for clamping the limit value of the DC voltage, a controller 10 for converting the clamped DC current to a control signal, and a light emitting current adjusting circuit 11 for adjusting light emitting current to flow into a light emitting LED 7 on the basis of the control signal. The clamp circuit 9 is constructed by both or one of a lower limit side clamp circuit for clamping the lower limit side of the DC voltage and an upper limit side clamp circuit for clamping the upper limit side of the DC voltage, and both the lower limit side clamp circuit and the upper limit side clamp circuit operate independently of each other, and have a temperature compensation function.
