Title:
POWER SUPPLY DEVICE IN ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT SYSTEM OF VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5816940
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the waste of power consumption in a deceleration section and improve fuel consumption, at deceleration running, by temporarily stopping a power feed to an unnecessary electrical equipment system of an engine and applying the stopped amount of generated power to a charge of a battery.

CONSTITUTION: An engine 1 is rotated to drive a generator 2, and its output voltage is regulated by voltage regulators 4a, 4b, then power is fed to a load 5 and used for charging a car battery 3. While a deceleration section detector 10 is provided for differentiating a voltage signal of a car speed sensor 9, detecting a car speed, and corresponding to its detector car speed, deciding a point of deceleration start time and deceleration end time and generating a control signal in a vehicle deceleration section. Further switches 11W13, operated by a control signal of this detector 10, are provided for opening and closing a power feed line to an ignition system 6 and exhaust gas recirculation (EGI) system 7 while for selecting the above described regulators 4a, 4b.
