To provide a power supply device, simply, with high reliability and over a long period of time, making detection whether a power source line of a load is connected to the device with a function of not supplying a power source if power is restored while a power source switch of an electric apparatus or a load is turned on, in case power supply to an electric apparatus load is stopped due to generation of power failure or a plug falling off a socket.
The power supply device supplies current to a detection means whether a power source line of a load is connected or not through a plug detection means for detecting that plug blades of the power source line of the load are plugged into blade rests of a multipolar plug-in connecting unit as a means of connecting the power source line of the load.
