To restrain an operating noise of a valve mechanism from being transmitted outside, in case a battery constituting a power supply device is equipped with a valve mechanism (explosion-proof valve) including an easily breakable part.
The power supply device is provided with a cell group consisting of a plurality of unit cells electrically connected to each other, and a noise-absorbing member 40 covering at least a part of the cell group. The unit cell is provided with a power generating element, a battery case with an opening for housing the power generating element, and a sealing plate sealing the opening. The sealing plate is provided with an explosion-proof valve, and the noise-absorbing member 40 absorbs an operating noise of the explosion-proof valve.
