Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device capable of supplying an appropriate voltage to a power reception device which is designed to receive a different voltage from a voltage specified in a predetermined standard.SOLUTION: An AV receiver 1 includes: a PoE power supply 3 which supplies a 48 V voltage specified in PoE and a 24 V voltage having different potential from the 48 V voltage; a PoE controller 6 for communicating with a power reception device conforming to PoE; and a microcomputer 2 which, when the PoE controller 6 determines that the connected power reception device conforms to a PoE standard, causes the PoE controller 6 to supply the 48 V voltage from the PoE power supply 3 to the power reception device. When the PoE controller 6 determines that the connected power reception device does not conform to the PoE standard, the microcomputer 2 controls to supply the 24 V voltage from the PoE power supply 3 to the power reception device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
