Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a DC voltage from a secondary battery at the moment of power failure of a commercial power supply, and thereby, to stably output a DC power to an output connector all the time.SOLUTION: A power supply device that supplies a DC output to an output connector 2 from both an AC adapter circuit 1, and a DC/DC conversion circuit 5 using a secondary battery 4 as a power supply, comprises: an output switch 8 connected between the DC/DC conversion circuit 5 and the output connector 2; a control circuit 9 that on/off-switches the output switch 8; and a power failure detection circuit 6 that detects power failure of the commercial power supply. The DC/DC conversion circuit 5 is held in an operation state in both an energization state and a power failure state, and when the power failure is detected, switches on the output switch 8 to output a DC power from the DC/DC conversion circuit 5 to the output connector 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
