Abstract:
To provide a power supply device capable of detecting only an object including a conductor out of objects including a conductor and not including a conductor as a foreign object, while suppressing heat generation by electromagnetic induction of a detection instrument.SOLUTION: A power supply device 10 comprises: a power reception coil connected to a load; a power transmission coil 22; a detection closed circuit 26 including a first detection coil 36 and a second detection coil 38; a current detection circuit 40 for detecting current flowing through the detection closed circuit 26, when the power transmission coil 22 generates a magnetic field; and a foreign object determination circuit 42 for determining the presence or absence of a foreign object on the basis of a detection result of the current detection circuit 40. The first detection coil 36 and the second detection coil 38 are disposed at a position where the magnetic field generated by the power transmission coil 22 reaches. The first detection coil 36 and the second detection coil 38 are connected in series so that the direction of the flow of the induction current generated in each of the first detection coil 36 and the second detection coil 38 is opposite to each other by the magnetic field.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
