Abstract:

To cut off the power supply to computer with a minimum circuit configuration and to reduce costs in a power supply device.

A device has an AC-DC voltage converter 11 for converting an inputted AC voltage to a DC voltage, a first DC-DC voltage converter 14 as a main power supply for converting a DC voltage from the AC-DC voltage converter 11 to a specific DC voltage, and a second DC-DC voltage converter 17 as an auxiliary power supply for converting the DC voltage from the AC-DC voltage converter 11 to a specific DC voltage. In this case, by operating a rapid power shut-off switch 4, a shut-off means 27 is provided to shut off the supply of an operation power supply from the second DC-DC voltage converter 17 to the first DC-DC voltage converter.
