Title:
POWER-SUPPLY STABILIZATION CIRCUIT AND CAPACITOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3463499
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power-supply stabilization circuit which prevents a capacitor from being damaged any more even when the capacitor is damaged by a method wherein a fuse which is blown due to the generation of an overcurrent is installed in series with every capacitor connected across power-supply lines.
SOLUTION: A power switch 12 is installed at the positive electrode on the side of an electronic apparatus, and a fuse 15 which is blown when an overcurrent flows (e.g. which is blown at 50 to 100mA) is installed at the positive electrode on the side of an input terminal. When the power switch 12 is turned on, a circuit is started. At this time, when one out of two capacitors 10 is damaged, the resistance value of the damaged capacitor 10 becomes identical to the resistance value of a magnetic dielectric inside the capacitor 10, and an overcurrent flows to the fuse 15. Then, the fuse 15 is blown so as to be set to a state identical to a state that the power switch 12 is turned off. Consequently, it is possible to prevent the overcurrent from flowing to the damaged capacitor 10.
