Abstract:
PURPOSE: To protect a load circuit against abnormal DC input voltage.
CONSTITUTION: Upon turn ON of a power switch 1, a relay 2 in a control circuit 23 functions to turn control switches 24, 25 ON thus connecting a DC power supply connected between positive and negative power supply terminals 21, 22 with terminals 24, 25 of a load 4. But when the DC power supply voltage has reverse polarity or magnitude deviated from an allowable range, a switching transistor 18 is turned OFF to cause turn OFF of the relay 2 and the control switches 24, 25 and thereby the DC power supply is not connected with the load 4.
