To provide a power supply system of a buoy which stably supplies power to a device included in the buoy for a long period of time even in a low-temperature environment.
The power supply system included in the buoy 2 floating on the water includes: a hydrogen storing alloy container 7 which is arranged under water and can exchange heat with water; a hydrogen storing alloy which is housed in the hydrogen storing alloy container 7 and emits hydrogen by heat exchange with the water; a fuel cell 3 which generates power by using hydrogen as fuel; and a hydrogen supply passage 9 which is connected between the hydrogen storing alloy container 7 and the fuel cell 3, and supplies the hydrogen emitted from the hydrogen storing alloy container 7 as the fuel for the fuel cell 3.
