Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system that can be used even when it is not connected to a commercial power source, can greatly reduce the frequency of maintenance such as exchange of a secondary battery or the like, and can be continuously operated for a long term in consideration of transport and installation particularly under a cold atmosphere.SOLUTION: A power supply system containing a fuel battery having an output ranging at least from 3 to 300 W, and a secondary battery. The fuel battery can charge the secondary battery, and power supply means from the fuel battery and the secondary batter to the outside. The power supply means is one or more types of means which are directly selected from the group consisting of a DC/DC inverter and a DC/AC inverter. The power supply system is transported while housed in at least plural housings, connected and then operated. The power supply system is transported while at least a heating body is housed in a housing while the fuel battery is housed.
