Abstract:
To provide a power supply unit and a method for controlling the power supply unit capable of relaxing the change in capacity, even if it is applied, for example, to information terminal apparatuses such as a PDA(personal digital assistant), a mobile communication apparatus, and the like, using secondary batteries, and even when it is used outdoors, or the like, where environmental temperature changes markedly.
The temperature of a secondary battery 2 is detected and the temperature of the secondary battery 2 is controlled according to the result of the temperature detection.
