To miniaturize a power supply unit by on-off controlling the electric power of large capacity with a power supply switch that has small contact capacity.
Opening a power supply switch 9, DC voltage, which is divided with voltage dividing resistors R1, R2, applies voltage to the base of transistor Tr, and the transistor Tr works on-action then DC voltage is passed to a relay coil 7a and a relay contact 7b is shut. By closing the power supply switch 9, the base electric potential of transistor Tr becomes GND level, and the transistor Tr works off-action then the electric current is not passed to the relay coil 7a and the relay contact 7b is opened. Then, the exciting current of relay coil 7a is controlled with the power supply switch 9, and the electric power system, from an input part 2 to electric functional part, is switched with the relay contact 7b.
