Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the power consumption of a snubber circuit provided in a switching element so as to improve the converting efficiency of the snubber circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A regulator of a boosting type chopper system provided with a snubber circuit containing a capacitor 5 against a power FET transistor 2 is constituted so that a smoothing capacitor 4 can be charged with the charges accumulated in the capacitor 5 of the snubber circuit under a surge voltage generated across a first choke coil 1 through a serial circuit of a second choke coil 10 and diode 11 for preventing vibrations.
