Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device capable of completing forced discharge of a capacitor without welding a relay even when the other relay is welded in a connected state.SOLUTION: A power supply device comprises: a negative electrode side relay 11a for connecting or disconnecting a negative electrode of a battery 10 and a cathode of a smoothing capacitor 13; a positive electrode side relay 11b for connecting or disconnecting a positive electrode of the battery 10 and an anode of the smoothing capacitor 13; a forced discharge execution section 31 for forcibly discharging an electric charge accumulated in the smoothing capacitor 13; a welding determination section 32 for determining whether the positive electrode side relay 11b is welded in a connected state on condition that the forced discharge is executed; and a controller 30 for putting the negative electrode side relay 11a into a disconnected state after lowering an upper limit value of an input current flowing in an inverter 14 to an upper limit current value on condition that the welding determination section 32 has determined that the positive electrode side relay 11b is welded in the connected state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
