Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system for driving a nuclear reactor coolant recirculation pump consisting of a simplified structure by reducing the number of units of a static type variable frequency supply device ASD at ABWR.
SOLUTION: At least one of normal buses A and B is connected from a station main power system 2 or from a generating auxiliary power system branched off from this station main power system 2 via a station transformer HT, and one MG set 3 is connected to at least one of these normal buses, and then one static variable frequency supply device ASD is connected to each MG set 3, and thereby this power system is made so as to have such a structure as connecting plural units of recirculation pumps RIP to each static type variable frequency supply device ASD respectively.
