The motive power system 3 for an in-vehicle device applied to an in-vehicle device 2 including: a first auxiliary output shaft 23 that obtains the motive power of an engine 11 from a drive shaft 12; a clutch 22 that performs the connection or disconnection of the drive shaft 12 and the first auxiliary output shaft 23; a pump 24 that is driven by the first auxiliary output shaft 23; and pressure equipment 25 that is operated by the pump includes a clutch control unit 35; a motor 41 that is connected to the first auxiliary output shaft 23; an engine rotational speed detection unit 51; an engine control unit 34 that performs control based on a sensed value obtained by the sensor; a motor rotational speed detection unit 52; a motor torque detection unit 53; a motor control unit 37 that performs control based on sensed values from the sensors; a clutch control unit 35; and a basic command part 31 that issues commands to the engine control unit 34 and the motor control unit 36.
