Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently output a desired reverse drive power to the first drive shaft and the second drive shaft to which part of the internal combustion engine is directly outputted.
SOLUTION: In reverse drive, the clutch C2 cuts the ring gear shaft 37, that is, the front shaft 50, from the planetary gear 31, and the clutch C1 connects the carrier 35 and ring gear 36, that is, the clank shaft 34 and the sun gear shaft 33, making the hybrid vehicle 20 a series hybrid vehicle. The motor MG2 and MG3 give reverse drive power to the front shaft 50 and the rear shaft 60 in an appropriate torque ratio following the stepped amount of the accelerator pedal 85. When the SOC of the secondary battery 70 is small, the engine 22 rotates the motor MG1 to generate power to supply power to the motor MG2 and MG3.
