Abstract:
To provide a power system which can effectively use batteries while reducing extra power modules to be provided.SOLUTION: A power system comprises compulsory disconnection means of compulsorily disconnecting batteries included in a battery module from serial connection without depending on a gate drive signal, calculates the number of batteries included in the battery module, which can be compulsorily disconnected from the serial connection according to the maximum voltage by the batteries which can be connected in series and a voltage command value showing voltage which should be output and compulsorily disconnects batteries for the calculated number from the serial connection by the compulsory disconnection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
