Abstract:
To provide an electrical power system capable of advancing a starting timing of discharge while suppressing inrush current generated between battery packs.SOLUTION: In an electrical power system 10, it is possible to charge from a charger 30 connected in parallel to a plurality of storage batteries 21 to the plurality of storage batteries 21, and to supply the power to a load 40 connected in parallel to the plurality of storage batteries 21 by discharging the plurality of storage batteries 21. The electrical power system 10 includes: a BMU 24 that controls a total charging current flowing to the plurality of storage batteries 21; and a current sensor 22 that detects an individual charging current flowing through the storage battery 21 for each of the plurality of storage batteries when charging from the charger 30 to the plurality of storage batteries 21. The BMU 24 limits the total charging current when a maximum deviation of the individual charging currents, which is a difference between the maximum individual charging current of the plurality of storage batteries 21 and the minimum individual charging current, becomes equal to or more than the limit threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
