To mount a hook with good appearance on a power tool device reduced in size by providing a built-in motor in a part for holding a housing.

This power tool device includes: a motor 12 serving as a driving source; an output mechanism part for transmitting the driving force from the motor 12 to a tool; an intermediate shaft engaged with a motor output shaft 13 provided in the motor 12 and a power transmission shaft provided in the output mechanism part to transmit the rotary driving force from the motor output shaft 13 to the power transmission shaft; and the housing 30 constituting an outer hull of the device, wherein the power transmission shaft is disposed at an angle to the motor output shaft 12. In the thus constructed power tool device, the housing 30 is provided with a storing part 33 formed to be projected for storing a brush holder 55. The power tool device includes the hook 60 freely turned on the storing part 33.
