To provide a power tool formed so as to absorbingly come into contact with a fixing tool and to drive a driving blade in response to a power from a power distribution source for driving the fixing tool into a work and having an arm member or a hook for protecting the power distribution source and storing the power tool.
The arm member 26 provides the protection of the power source 16 and the easiness of the storage of the power tool 10. At a closed position, the arm member 26 is formed to partially surround a part of the power source 16 and redirect a directly applied impact toward a portion apart from the power source 16. At an open position, the arm member 26 is formed so as to be engaged with a projected part or a structure and to be stored by suspending the power tool 10 and/or by the other method.
