In the power tool, a tool body 1 includes an electric motor 5, an operation mechanism driven by the electric motor 5, a battery charger 2 for supplying power to the electric motor 5, a trigger switch 3 for performing a starting operation of the electric motor 5 and the LED (Light Emitting Diode) light 13 irradiating by being interlocked with the trigger switch 3. An illuminance adjusting switch 15 for selecting a plurality of illuminance is connected to a control part 17 for controlling a circuit for connecting the LED light and the battery charger. The LED light 13 is turned on by a duty ratio selected by the illuminance adjusting switch 15 to adjust illuminance.
