Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable circular saw hardly transmitting torque of a saw blade to a movable cover.SOLUTION: In a portable circular saw having a motor, a housing for storing the motor, a spindle rotatingly driven by the motor, a disk-like saw blade having an outer peripheral part having a plurality of blade parts and a base part positioned on the inside in the radial direction with respect to the outer peripheral part and installed on a spindle, a base having an abutting surface for abutting on an uncut material upper surface and an opening part for projecting the saw blade from the abutting surface and connected to the housing so as to be inclinable to the housing around an inclination shaft of extending in the orthogonal direction to a shaft of the spindle, and a movable cover rotatable to the housing and covering the outer peripheral part of the saw blade, a saw blade side sidewall of the movable cover is provided with a rib capable of abutting on the base part when the saw blade and the movable cover contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
