Abstract:
To provide a technique which can prevent a power tool from being used with a handle removed.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a power tool. The power tool may include: a motor which has an output shaft; a power transmission mechanism which is connected to the output shaft; a housing which stores the motor and the power transmission mechanism; a tip tool holding section which is connected to the power transmission mechanism and to/from which the tip tool can be attached/detached; a handle which is detachably mounted in the housing; and a lock mechanism which prohibits rotation of the tip tool holding section when the handle is not mounted in the housing and allows the rotation of the tip tool holding section when the handle is mounted in the housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
