Abstract:
An electric tool comprising a motor (6); a rotating tool driven by the motor (6); a motor rotation speed detection circuit (58, 59) configured to detect a rotation rate of the motor (6); and a manipulation switch (5), wherein, a control unit (50) is configured, when the manipulation switch (5) is turned off while the motor is being driven, to set a stronger braking force when the rotation rate of the motor (6) is equal to or higher than a predetermined value as compared with a case in which the rotation rate is lower than the predetermined value.
