Abstract:
PURPOSE:To ensure both the convergence and the stability of the control characteristics of an automobile controller described at the heading by setting the initial control condition according to the preceeding control condition when the current control mode changes to the brake control which is executed by a driving force control or an anti-lock control means. CONSTITUTION:The outputs from a driving force control means D and an anti- lock control means F are sent to a setting means G. When the drive control is changed to that using a driving force control means D or the braking control to that using the anti-lock control means F, setting means G sets an initial control condition according to the preceeding control condition. For example, at the time of change to the driving force control, a throttle gain is reduced to avoid quick increase in output torque according to the friction coefficient estimated by the anti-lock control means F. In such constitution the control precision at the early time of the change may be improved.
