To provide a power transmission control device for a vehicle using a double-clutch transmission with which it is possible to suppress slipping during a gear change operation in a situation in which the drive wheels are susceptible to slipping.
The clutch torque for a newly selected clutch, which replaces the deselected clutch, increases from zero to the "selected-side torque", the clutch torque for the newly deselected clutch, which has been replaced by the selected clutch, decreases from the "complete connection torque" to the "deselected-side torque", and the engine torque is reduced from a value that is in accordance with the accelerator opening. Then, the engine torque is increased to the value that is in accordance with the accelerator opening, the clutch torque for the newly selected clutch is increased from the selected-side torque to the complete connection torque, and the clutch torque for the newly deselected clutch is reduced from the deselected-side torque to zero. When slipping of the vehicle's wheels is detected, the selected-side torque, deselected-side torque, and the increase gradient of the engine torque are set to a small value.
