To provide a chain conveyer with structure reducing change in speed of a carrier table moving on an outward passage side not changed in a vertical direction.
The chain conveyer comprises: a drive sprocket 3; a drive chain 4 wound on the drive sprocket; a main shaft drive sprocket 5 attached to a main shaft 6 and wound around a drive chain; a chain bending device 38 disposed between the drive sprocket and the main shaft drive sprocket to bend the drive chain; a carrying table drive sprocket 7 attached to a main shaft and rotated at the same angular speed as the main shaft sprocket; a driven sprocket 9; and a carrying table drive chain 10 to which the carrying table 15, which is wound around a carrying table drive sprocket and the driven sprocket, is attached. The chain bending device 38 changes a bent amount of the drive chain 4 depending on position of the carrying table.
