PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device with a simple structure, a low production cost, a small size and light weight, and automatically increasing a reduction gear ratio according to loads on output shaft side without performing complicated operation or control, and to provide a driving device for a model car using the power transmission device.
SOLUTION: A sun gear 6 in a planetary gear device 5 is connected to an input shaft 3 to support a shaft 8 of a planetary gear 9 meshed with the sun gear 6, a carrier 7 rotatably installed around the same shaft line as the sun gear 6 is connected to an output shaft 4, an internal gear 10 meshed with the planetary gear 9 is rotatably installed around the same shaft line as the sun gear 6, and the input shaft 3 and the internal gear 10 are connected through a magneto joint 11 formed with a driven plate 15 in which a permanent magneto 14 is installed on one side of the facing surface of rotators 12, 13 facing each other and the other side is dragged with the permanent magneto 14.
