Abstract:

To improve discharge performance of dust such as abrasion powder, by enhancing a flow of air passing through a dry type friction clutch.

Dust such as abrasion powder is discharged to the outside by flows K1-K3 of air passing through the inside of a dry type friction clutch to the radially outside. A suction duct 45 is disposed to a housing cover 13 of a clutch housing 11 disposed in an axial clearance between the dry type friction clutch and the damper 3. Air whose pressure is increased by rotation of the damper 3 and which flows near an outer peripheral part of the damper 3 is fed to near an engagement portion between a clutch hub 22 of the dry type friction clutch and a hub-side friction plate 25 by the suction duct 45, to enhance the air flows K1-K3.
