Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optionally adjust the magnitude of braking force of an engine brake in a power transmission device for a vehicle having a crank type continuously variable transmission.SOLUTION: An auxiliary driving force transmission means 30 arranged in parallel with a continuously variable transmission T and connecting an input shaft 11 and an output shaft 12 has a single pinion type planetary gear mechanism 71 including a first element (sun gear 72) connected to a transmission shaft 27 (input shaft 11), a second element (carrier 73) connected to the output shaft 12, and a third element (ring gear 74) connected to a load generation means 78 capable of generating a load of which magnitude is variable. By changing the load generated by the load generation means 78 in deceleration fuel cut of a vehicle so as to change engine speed, the magnitude of braking force of an engine brake can be optionally adjusted, and the engine speed can be maintained to the engine speed by which an engine E can be reignited.
